Believe it or not, I don’t like writing about Michael Coren. I’d rather be talking about something else but he’s the gift who keeps on giving. On and on he goes. He loves to wear his clerical collar and boy does he look smugger than ever. He was “ordained” by a lady named Susan Bell. Susan Bell is a member of the Anglican Church of Canada who calls herself a bishop. There is no such thing as a female bishop. Her ordination is just as bogus as the one she gave to Coren.
In the above video, Michael Coren says something that shows the number one problem with Christianity. It’s probably the most anti-Christian thing that he’s said; even more than saying that homosexuals can have a loving and committed Christian marriage.
At about 2:20 of the video he describes the Anglican Church as a “Protestant Church that allows me to be the Catholic I want to be.” Can you imagine believing in something like that? That big bad Roman Church wasn’t allowing me to believe what I want, but this modern religion founded by an adulterous politician allows me to believe what I want while keeping some Catholic traditions! What a great deal!
This is dethroning Jesus Christ. Christ is the Lord over all creation and you have to worship Him on HIS and only HIS terms. This is the root of all modernism; man making himself a religion because he doesn’t want to embrace the one that God gave him. He’s now being the Catholic that he wants to be as opposed to the Catholic that God wants him to be.
This is where modernism comes from. Man dreams up a law in contrast to God’s law and there you go. Why would anyone pick a man made law over a God made law? Because if you’re someone like Coren you don’t worship the God of the Bible. Coren worships the god that he sees in the mirror every morning. He gets to pick anything that he wants to believe. He’s a big boy who is all grown up.
You can see a look of glee in his eyes when he starts talking about the collar he’s wearing. He’s quite a big man in his own small little world. People around the world are dying for their faith in Jesus Christ. People in Syria, Iraq, China, North Korea and many other places on this planet. They might have to go to meet their Lord any second. There is nothing in their lives about customizing beliefs while you gloat about your clerical collar from your bogus and invalid ordination while talking about how “gay Christian men” have influenced you. He actually says that in the video if you watch the entire thing. Repent Michael.
