I’m currently reading the book Byzantine Theology by John Meyendorff. I’m doing this because I’m really trying to put myself in the mindset of the Christian world that the early Muslims invaded. One thing that stands out in the Byzantine world at the time was the huge heresy of monophysitism. By the 7th century this heresy was nothing new. It had been an issue in Christendom for centuries and remained an important issue for centuries after.

Polygamy in the Bible and in Islam
by
I was once on an Islamic apologetics website and the Muslim who ran the website said that polygamy was allowed in the OT and Jesus never prohibited it in the NT. I was tempted to leave it alone thinking that he would simply ignore the clear evidence that I presented but I stubbornly decided to present my case. I went on to quote Matthew 19:5, where our Lord Jesus Christ quoted Genesis 2:24. He says:

When David Wood debated Mohammed Hijab, he brought up the anthropomorphic nature of the Muslim god Allah which can be found in the Quran but mostly in the Hadith. Mohammed Hijab didn’t know what do with it. He responded to a few things, misrepresented others, and dodged others. He was unaware that Muslims scholars had taught this as he asked Wood to provide Muslim scholars who believed this.
What Most People Don’t Know About the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

Things have become worse in the situation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Greek Orthodox Church of Constantinople. In the interview above(which is short and I recommend everyone watch), the Orthodox bishop says that Russians who go on vacation in Turkey cannot receive communion in the churches there. This is a pretty serious situation.

James White and Michael Brown Debate Two Homosexuals
by
I just watched a completely horrible debate on homosexuality. On one side was James White and Michael Brown who are both skilled debaters and have published on the topic. The other debaters were two liberal Protestant pastors named Pastor Deweyne Robinson and Rev. Ruth Jensen-Forbell. I have never heard of either of them before and I don’t expect to see them again.
Archbishop Vigano Strikes Again!
by
Archbishop Vigano was become the Catholic version of Edward Snowden. He exposes the corruption and abuse of authority of people in important positions and then goes into hiding. I suppose the only difference is that people know where Snowden resides but Vigano is in a secret location. I have no doubt that the Vatican is hunting him since he’s revealing the fact that some of the highest ranking bishops in the Church are either involved in the sodomite cabal or are running interference for them.
So Much Chaos! Why Should We Stay Catholic?

Above is a compilation of video footage from my August vacation to Eastern Europe. Check it out. Anyways, that isn’t topic of this post.
The Conversion Story of Rod Dreher
by
A couple of days ago, Catholic journalist Damon Linker left the Catholic Church and it was essentially due to scandals. Immediately Rod Dreher writes a piece on this which can be found here:
Michael Coren, How Many Priests Were Actually Indicted in the Grand Jury Report?

Several years ago when Michael Coren left the Catholic Church to become an Anglican for collapsing on the issue of sodomy, he would talk about how he still respected the Catholic Church but had almost lost his faith so he had to become and Anglican. At times he actually said he was still a Catholic but worshipped in the Anglican communion. I actually believed that he still respected the Church. Shame on me.
