We Need Allies

Today my country heads to the polls.  None of the parties represent Christian values so I’m going to be voting strategically.  Will we have a new Prime Minister?  I don’t know.  All I know is that it won’t be a great result.

On Saturday I got up quite early.  I couldn’t get back to bed so I decided to take a book and head down to the local coffee shop.  It was still dark and wasn’t that cold so I just put on a hoodie, grabbed a book and headed to the local Starbucks to do some reading.  After an hour, I finished up the book that I was reading then decided to walk home.

The area of the city where I live is on a plateau so there are several sets of stairs that I could take to get back up.  From a distance I looked at one of the sets of stairs and wasn’t sure if what I saw was actually there.  I went to take a closer look.  The stairs were painted in homosexual propaganda rainbow colors.  It was Pride week a month and a half ago so this had most likely been done then, not to mention a lot of crosswalks had been painted and stuff like that.  The quiet, peaceful residential inner city neighborhood where I live has been polluted with this depravity.

When I first started this blog I was very anti-Protestant.  I live in English speaking Canada which is similar to America in Protestant-Catholic distribution.  I still believe them to be in error but I’ve come to respect their love for Jesus Christ and the scriptures.

In the West, we have to be allies.  There is absolutely no question because secularism is winning.  It’s also not secularism that is partially rational.  It’s completely morally depraved.  If people decide to become secular we can’t stop that.  However, Western secularism has completely lost all morality and reason and won’t stop until we accept their depravity.  I can’t walk home without seeing those stupid stairs.

I’ve had it.  We need to team up.  The leftists don’t care if we believe that baptism saves or faith alone saves.  They hate us and won’t rest until we accept their depravity.  I hate to admit this but seeing those stairs in the morning ruined my whole day.  I couldn’t get them out of my head.

Do Catholics and Protestants have differences?  We certainly do, and I would never try to diminish them.  However, I’ve had enough and believe that the only way to win is to team up to fight this nonsense.

Please pray for my country as we prepare to vote today.  I won’t say who I’m voting for, but I’ll give one hint.  The leader of the party that I’m going to vote for doesn’t wear blackface.

God bless.

I agree completely. I wish so many of them didn’t hate us so much, it’s just plain stupid.

    • I personally don’t care if they think I’m going to hell. I just think that there are bigger issues to deal with at this point in time so I wish they would(the nasty ones) be a little kinder.

  2. Greetings in Christos, Mr. Ruhl.
Since you’re a blogging layman and not a priest, I’ll make this clear:
I have discovered that mainstream Christianity today is not what it is 2000 years ago. It has become on the outside an exchange of rants and threats, not a quest of discovery. We both waited for the Christ to come again as per the Creed of Nicaea; indeed it has taken so long despite the so-called predictions and reformations.
All this propaganda and pollution you mentioned is caused by forces beyond your limited knowledge; in your mindset, you can call this a “hell” or in the correct translation of the Greek, Hades. My only request is to look inside yourself; this doesn’t matter what faith you are in, this applies to all humanity.
    Domo, Carl.
