I really wanted to talk about the Pope’s change to the CCC but unfortunately the timing was a bit off. I leave for vacation tomorrow. I’m off to the land where it seems Stepan Bandera has been resurrected as a national hero. Yes, I’m off to the Ukraine; the land of my maternal ancestry and Euromaidan.
What’s Wrong With Jewish History? Well….

I’ve started to notice something about Jewish history and I find it quite appalling. I find this in Jewish books, articles and other writings. We can all agree that the holocaust was an extremely tragic event in human history. Jews certainly know this more than anyone. Sadly, it has deeply affected the way that Jews think and do history.
Robert Spencer vs. E. Michael Jones

I had heard a month or two ago that Robert Spencer had left the Catholic Church. Some Google searching had suggested that he had joined the Orthodox Church which is apparently the Church he was baptized into as a child. It’s disappointing to see people leave my faith but Robert Spencer had never criticized Islam from a Catholic perspective and the above video certainly shows that.
The Western Convert to Islam and the Muhammad Problem
by

Westerners are not typically attracted to Islam but there are exceptions. A small group inside of those who are attracted to Islam become converts. What attracts them to this foreign religion? They probably think that the Trinity is esoteric and Tawheed makes more sense. They probably don’t like the Christian doctrine of atonement. They probably like the fact that the Quran has never been changed. The latter statement is utterly false according to Islamic sources. Anyways, these are some of the reasons that they convert.
The Crusade Against Erdogan

Last weekend was the Turkish festival in my city. It was downtown and not too far from where I lived so I decided to go. I remember how on Canada day I engaged the Muslims at the dawah booth at the festival downtown. I expected to find a Muslim booth but I didn’t know what to expect in terms of dawah.
Thoughts on the Interesting Discussion Between Matt Fradd and Brian Holdsworth
by
I really liked the above discussion between YouTuber Brian Holdsworth and apologist Matt Fradd. It was a discussion that took place at the Family Life Conference in Lac St. Anne, Alberta, Canada, which is an hour northwest of Edmonton, which is my hometown. Holdsworth actually mentioned that the conference was in Edmonton. While technically not true, he’s obviously saying this since few outside of Northern Alberta have heard of Lac St. Anne.
Random Thoughts on Ariana Grande
by
As a reader of this blog, you’ve probably noticed that I put up pictures or videos relating to posts. In trying to find one for Ariana Grande’s new music video God is a Woman, I ran into some troubles. I was going to put up a link to the music video but it I didn’t want to promote it. I suppose the fact that it has tens of millions of views in just a few days shows that whether I promote it or not won’t make a difference. My second thought was to put a picture of Ariana Grande up top, however a quick Google search of her shows that it’s impossible to find a picture of her in even semi-modest attire so I couldn’t do that either. So basically I just ended up selecting a picture of some religious books and a rosary.
Richard Dawkins isn’t Racist – He’s a Fraud

A Great Idea for Shabir Ally, Reza Aslan, or Mustafa Akyol
by
I suppose this idea could be entertained by any Islamic scholar or apologist when you think about it. Over the last several decades Islamic scholars and apologists have been reading not just our scriptures, but our Biblical scholarship. They’ve used this material to attack the Christian faith and try to prove Islamic doctrine. I actually have a suggestion that these Muslims might be interested in.
If Muhammad Were a Biblical Prophet he Would Have Done This
by
In my last post, I talked a lot about how Muhammad never mentioned that a covenant with Ishmael existed. The idea of a covenant seems foreign to Islam, however they’re very important in the Bible, in both the Old and New Testament. They actually show why Muhammad is not a Prophet by Biblical standards.
