There is an argument that I’ve heard a couple times in my life in terms a supposed contradiction in the Bible. It looks really clever on the surface but deep down it’s a joke. I’m bringing this to your attention because recently a secularist tried to use this one on me. I have heard this from a Muslim apologist as well. I won’t tell you which Muslim but I’ll just add that he’s been exposed as a racist who doxxes people.

Don’t Matthew and Luke give us genealogies? This contradicts what St. Paul says in 1 Timothy in not devoting yourself to endless genealogies. Checkmate Christian! Some arguments are so incredibly bad that you feel bad wasting time on them.
The epistle of 1 Timothy would have been written in the 60s. The birth of Christ had come over 60 years earlier. The genealogy of the messiah was important, but after the messiah came, nothing mattered anymore. Once He came, genealogies meant nothing. We’re all one in Christ Jesus now. You don’t have to be born into a certain tribe to do a certain function anymore.
If someone in the 60s or after that talked about their Jewish lineage or even some sort of prestigious gentile lineage it wouldn’t matter. This was certainly going on and it was what St. Paul was trying to argue against.
Wow, that didn’t take as much space as I thought so I’ll talk a little bit about the new “Catholic” President of the United States. You notice that I put the word Catholic in quotation marks. I probably could have put the word President in quotation marks as well because this election looked more like a Venezuelan election than an American one.
I just want to say that apostate Catholics are some of the most evil people on the planet. I’m not talking about Catholics who become Evangelical or Eastern Orthodox. They retain good Christian values for the most part. I refer to demonic lapsed Catholics like Biden.
I should point out that a lot of the top Nazi officials were lapsed Catholics. Hitler, Goebbels and Himmler were all born Catholic and most likely identified as Catholic until the day they died. Did they go to weekly mass, pray the rosary, pray before every meal, and fast on Friday? Absolutely not. When Hitler married Eva Braun the day before he died he didn’t do a Catholic wedding, but a secular wedding done by a government official.
I’m not saying that Biden will be like Hitler or the like but he’ll probably adopt a character of the racist blackface former drama teacher Justin Trudeau. In other words, he’ll work against the faith that he claims to profess.
