Dr. E. Michael Jones and the Rise of Logos

I’ve been a great admirer of E. Michael Jones for many years.  I think he’s the smartest American alive today.  He’s often the object of discussion after mass when we’re in the hall drinking coffee.  When the latest edition of Culture Wars comes out there are always interesting discussions.

For the longest time, the fans of Dr. Jones have been almost exclusively Catholic. Just in the last couple of years that’s starting to change.  Many Protestants and members of the Eastern Orthodox Church have taken a liking to him.  Even Musims are taking a liking to him and his work.  Surprisingly a lot of young people who have large online presences are taking an interest in what he’s saying about Logos.  I see more and more people online using that word to talk about their worldview.

Many people who are part of the alt-right are starting to look at his work and it’s even having an effect on them.  It’s unbelievable that this is happening.  Dr. Jones is 71 years old, but he’s lived long enough to see his philosophy travel outside of Catholic circles.

Recently he was on Dr. Michael Brown’s show where he was interviewed.  I admire what Brown has done in the field of Jewish apologetics but in so many ways he has completely collapsed and become ineffective.  Of course he said that Dr. Jones(or some of the stuff he was saying) was antisemitic.  Of course Dr. Brown and Rabbi Shmuley Boteach were recently talking about how the New York Times was antisemitic because of how it portrayed Netanyahu in a political cartoon.  That’s completely ridiculous.  The New York Times is many negative things but antisemitic is not one of them.

In the last year I’ve noticed that accusations of antisemitism have become completely pointless.  No one is buying it anymore.  No one is buying the nonsense coming from Brown, Boteach, Netanyahu, the ADL, or other Jewish professional victim organizations.  It’s actually kind of sad since this will lead to real antisemitism going unnoticed in the future.  We all remember hearing the story The Boy Who Cried Wolf as children.  I think the tipping point was when the state of Israel started going after Poland.

In John 1:1 we read:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The direct Greek translation of “Word” is logos.  Logos is God and He has worked through history.  There are many examples of logos in history.  When Dr. Jones was giving a talk in Iran he talked about how Iran had a huge history of Logos.  He talked about how the Magi looked to the stars and saw the order in the universe.  This order led them to find Jesus Christ, the Son of God in a little town in the holy land.

I recommend reading The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit by Dr. Jones.  This is where he first talks about the Logos.  The book was published in 2008.  It’s over ten years old but more popular than ever.  He’s currently writing The History of Logos and the Logos of History.  The battle for Logos needs to happen.  I do believe the contradictions of modern Western civilization are beginning to show.  There is a lack of Logos and we must all do our part in fighting for it.  #LogosRising

If you want a good introduction to Dr. Jones, here’s a good introduction video where he exposes Pete Buttigieg four years ago:

Here’s where he talks about homosexual “marriage” as a form of political control.  Binge away!

  1. Maybe people like Brown and Boteach say people are antisemitic is because synagogues continue to get shot up and Jewish people are constantly bashed (not talking about Israel or zionism just Jews generally).

Jones has been on shows with tons of different people so many of whom are atheistic and totally anti catholic (Richard Spencer comes to mind but others) and nobody cares but when he goes on Brown’s show (someone who has done more to spread Christianity than you or Jonese easily) really disgusting hatred comes out of his audience.

It’s telling that you and his audience don’t see this and take a totally one sided view. No introspection at all

    • “Maybe people like Brown and Boteach say people are antisemitic is because synagogues continue to get shot up and Jewish people are constantly bashed (not talking about Israel or zionism just Jews generally).”

This isn’t anything unique though as it happens to all people. There have been over 800 church burnings in France in recent times. We have the New Zealand mosque shooting and the Sri Lankan church shooting which killed way more people. This doesn’t excuse the synagogue shooting but it shows that the discrimination isn’t exclusively anti-jewish.

When Jones went on Spencer’s show it was to spread Christianity. He tried to convert them just like he tried to convert David Duke in Mexico.

“It’s telling that you and his audience don’t see this and take a totally one sided view. No introspection at all”

Brown spreads a lot of misinformation. I’m thankful for what he’s done in Jewish apologetics but in many other cases, he has a lot to learn. Jones is far more polished and researched on this stuff. Brown can learn from him.

      • I am aware that practically every other group in human history has had people attack them and dislike them, but this whole discussion is about Jews. I mean that’s what Brown and Jones were discussing at least and obviously anti-Jewish sentiment is different than anti-Islamic or anti-Christian sentiment just by definition so it is therefore unique just like any other discriminatory attitude toward a specific group is unique in its own right.

I’m just saying how he and his audience treat white nationalist pagan/atheistic types seems to be far more friendly than how they treated Brown and that’s putting it lightly obviously the man can’t control youtube comments and such, but it’s pretty telling

        • “obviously anti-Jewish sentiment is different than anti-Islamic or anti-Christian sentiment just by definition so it is therefore unique just like any other discriminatory attitude toward a specific group is unique in its own right.”

          Please elaborate.

          • I’m not trying to be rude or snide, but I’m not sure I can make that more clear. There are different prejudices in the world and they have different reasoning behind them. I am only talking about anti-Jewish sentiment in this comment section because, well, that’s the topic that is being discussed in the youtube video.
I am not dismissing other prejudices at all or claiming anti-Jewish sentiment is somehow worse than other kinds. It’s just the topic at hand

    • So very sorry you can’t see. Brown sows segregation of Jewish Christian and Gentiles of the like. There is no more Jew or gentile but his attitude is divisive and contrary to peace in the gospel. He has the temerity to tell us he is prophetic. What a joke. I reject him at his belief in the false Talmud made by Rabbis never ordained by God. Torah Tanak is not Talmud. His errors are all to evident and so very sorry he does not get Jewish privilege in the Church. His accusative manner calling people antisemitic is all to revealing. may he repent of his arrogant spirit and racial naivety’s. yet when he is with Tovia who he calls Rabbi forbidden by God, he is apuppy in awe of his master. What a loss of effort on his part. God bless him and save him as he did us.

  2. I have never heard of Dr Jones but sadly for me any grown man who wears a wig for any other reason than medical reasons, ie vanity, loses all credibility. People like Bill Nye spring to mind. If you are bald man up and accept what God has given you. Intellectuals often fall prey to this vanity i have observed. I speak as a bald man who started losing his hair in late teenage years so i know how crippling it first is but hey we get over it.
