What evidence would I accept for the Injeel? According to orthodox Islam, there was a document given to Jesus Christ called the Injeel. The truth is that there is no Injeel. The Quran assumes that the document with the Christians today is the one that was supposedly given to Jesus Christ. Since this is an obvious impossibility and since the Injeel with the Christians contradicts Islam, this myth was born.

Interview With Erick Ybarra
by
I hope that all of my Canadian followers had lots of turkey on Monday as it was Canadian thanksgiving. My family had our thanksgiving dinner on Sunday so on Monday I was free. I did the three hour drive home and then got ready because I had an interview booked. It was with Catholic apologist Erick Ybarra who blogs at erickybarra.org and is a co-host along with Michael Lofton on Reason and Theology.
Nasty Internet Stuff
by
I sometimes think that the internet brings out the worst in people. Lately all over the internet and social media, I’ve been seeing a lot of nasty religious arguments. I’m not against arguing at all as that is the goal of this blog. I’m against being nasty, especially being nasty all the time. I don’t want to name names or groups but here is my take on it.
Adnan Rashid and Paran
by
As I mentioned in my last post, Mecca is entirely absent from the Bible and it really bothers Muslim apologists. There is not a single reference to it or Medina(Yathrib). As I mentioned in my previous post, Adnan Rashid recently had a debate with Samuel Green about Muhammad in the Bible. I pointed out in that post how Sela couldn’t be Medina. I will now show why Paran can’t be Mecca as Rashid claims.
Adnan Rashid and Sela
by
I recently watched a debate with Samuel Green and Adnan Rashid on whether or not Muhammad was foretold in the Bible. Adnan Rashid annoyed me because he kept throwing out red herrings. I don’t think either side came out clearly victorious. Rashid made some horrible statements but I don’t think Green hammered on them as well has he could have. Anyway, I’m not here to review the debate. I’m here to point out something else.
Medieval Church and State Relations

Poland and France are both Catholic countries. The main difference is the level of observance between the two countries. Not many French people are religious while Poland is quite religious. If the President of France is making policy and the Archbishop of Paris objects to it, the President will probably laugh and ignore it. If the Prime Minister of Poland is making policy and the Archbishop of Warsaw objects, he has to seriously reconsider the policy.
Greta Thunberg Should Convert to Catholicism and Become a Nun

Every Wednesday I attend a meeting with a group of young adult Catholics in my city. It started out as a Bible study but we’ve done other things as well. Now we’re doing a book study. The book is Men, Women, and the Mystery of Love by Edward Sri. It’s based off the book Love and Responsibility by Pope John Paul II, though he wrote it long before he became Pope.
The Trinity and John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Homosexuals Against Homosexual Culture – Do they Exist?
by
The homosexual movement, also known as the LGBTQ movement is gaining ground in the West. This movement is extremely intolerant and lacking in morals. One way to see this first hand is to watch their Pride parades or their culture in general. By the way, I’m not recommending going to those parades. Stay far away from them.
Musings on Isaiah 7 and the Virgin Birth
by
Not long ago, I wrote about Hosea 11 and what is actually meant by how the NT uses this passage. I would like to do the same thing with the virgin birth as many people think this passage is just wrenched out of context by Matthew. There is actually a very rich context to explore and this passage actually shows how the Son is eternal.
