On June 12, 2016 in the early hours of the morning in Orlando, Omar Mateen walked into the homosexual night club Pulse and killed several dozen people with an assault weapon. Responses have been of every stripe. In the days following the slaughter, YouTube featured a rainbow heart right next to their logo.
My only question for YouTube is Why? I’m sure their response would be that they want to stand in solidarity with the homosexual community while they mourn the loss of their community members in Orlando. Omar Mateen claimed to be a supporter of ISIS. ISIS has done far more than just murder these homosexuals at Pulse. ISIS is committing a genocide against the oldest Christian communities in the world – Iraq and Syria.
These communities are Catholic(Roman and Eastern Rite), Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and the Assyrian Church of the East. They are being murdered, their towns liquidated and much of their property confiscated. Their churches are being converted to mosques, community centres or headquarters for ISIS.
Where are you YouTube? Where is the cross next to your logo? It’s depressing to see what is happening to our society. Victims are only worthy if they support the leftist cause? This doesn’t surprise me, as sacred scripture teaches in Isaiah 5:20:
Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.
Don’t get me wrong, YouTube is only one of the organizations that would fall on its sword for homosexuals but the genocide of the oldest Christian communities in the world are irrelevant. Facebook and Google are no different, as are numerous other companies in the West. None of them promote Biblical values or have any character whatsoever.
This is reason number 4576 why the West is not just post-Christian but anti-Christian. They stand by the enemies of our faith while they don’t come to stand in solidarity with us.
To be honest I don’t expect anything better from these people. It’s just that they’ll make things difficult for believers in the West; at least the few of us that remain.
What do we do as believers? It is impossible to boycott every organization that will fall on its sword for depravity since we would not be able to do anything. It’s come to that point. Regardless of what befalls us, we have to keep the faith. We need to keep going to Mass, keep reading Saint biographies and praying for our Country.
We should also pray for these companies. Most people that oppose this depravity keep quiet because they’re afraid of the social consequences. The left can punish one person here and one person there but we need to emerge together. If we speak out together, they can’t do anything. They won’t be able to enact any of their bogus “hate crime” laws.
We need to come out of the closet. I hate using that analogy but its what needs to happen. Homosexuals and their straight sympathizers are on the warpath. They can crush individuals but not the collective. When the Kingship of Christ is proclaimed once again, the people who run YouTube will sympathize with the Christians being persecuted. They will no longer be concerned about what happens at Pulse because it a Christian society, places like Pulse will not exist.
