A few months ago, I denounced the label of conservative. One of the reasons is that I no longer have anything in common with them. In the province of Ontario which contains about 40% of Canada’s population, there has been news of a recently established party called the Islamic Party of Ontario. Many political commentators on the right and also on the left are in a mass panic over the establishment of this party.
Let me be clear, this party is an absolute joke. They will never gain any political power in the slightest. In the above video, commentator Faith Goldy talks about how in Toronto, the population of Muslims is 8% and growing. So what? Most Muslims in Canada don’t care about sharia or even Islam. They’re too busy becoming Canadian. So many people are terrified that Islam will conquer the West. What a joke. The West is conquering Islam and that’s not a good thing because Muslims are now supporting all of the evil that the West promotes.
Is Sharia evil? Obviously Sharia is evil but I think a valid question is, why don’t Muslim countries have sharia? There are only a handful of countries that claim to have it but even they don’t have it. Saudi Arabia claims to be a sharia state but it’s really just a corrupt oligarchic family that runs their nation like a terror state. Most devout Muslims that I know hate Saudi Arabia because they claim to be Islamic when they’re not. Countries like Turkey and Morocco are Muslim countries in terms of population but they don’t claim to be Islamic states so devout Muslims don’t have a problem with them. There is no false advertising.
So Toronto is 8% Muslim? That doesn’t matter. My city is 8% Muslim and we actually have a Muslim mayor. Like most of the Muslims in the West, he’s Muslim in name only. Would a true Muslim marshall the annual Pride parade like he did in 2011?
Canada is supposedly 30% Catholic. If it were truly that much we would live in a radically different country. Trudeau is a Catholic, yet the man won’t hesitate to spit in God’s face while promoting sodomites and terrorists. He’s not a true Catholic, just like most Canadian Muslims aren’t true Muslims.
Now, as a Catholic how do I look at this? I care about Muslims. My heart goes out to them. The vast majority of them had no choice in the religion they were brought up in. The people who founded the Islamic Party of Ontario are deeply misguided theologically but they actually stand for something, as opposed to the majority of Canadian Muslims that believe in transgenderism, sodomy, and evolution.
People like Faith Goldy and other Catholics shouldn’t be panicking about this fringe group that will never wield any political power. They should be trying to bring these people to the truth so that Catholicism can grow and one day hold sway over public policy. Goldy is too busy panicking that our country is getting less white. If Canada lost it’s non-white population, about 90% of Catholic Churches would shut down since they’d be mostly empty.
Goldy and Canadians of all stripes need to realize that our country has to be taken back from depraved leftists. If Canada was a Christian state, and sanity was restored, maybe I’d focus on this stupid little party. However, if this was a Christian country, this ridiculous party probably wouldn’t even exist.
We can look to the life of Jesus Christ as an example. In the first century toward the end of the second temple period, most Jews had developed such a hatred for the Romans that it ruined their theology. To them, they wanted a Messiah that would come, smash the Romans and restore the Kingdom of Israel. They were so misguided that they let that hatred for these pagan gentiles obscure the image of the Messiah so that when He came, most Jews missed Him. They were too busy worrying about a fake enemy. Does this sound familiar?

This post is out of touch with reality. Turkey is now an Islamic state and no longer a secular state recently under Erdogan, and sharia is growing in influence as it is established in Iran under Khomeini, Libya after Ghadafi was deposed, and Egypt under the Muslim brotherhood. Not mention that American Muslim immigrants forming Sharia enclaves in St Paul MN, Deerborn MI etc. I guess those Muslim immigrants are too busy becoming American? Hardly, just follow David Wood debating Muslims in those areas and you see that islamicisation is taking place as mandated as per the Quran. Enclaves in North America where sharia law forbids selling pork, women mandated to wear hijabs etc. Enclaves are significant because they can grow to take over cities in Europe like Lutton, London, Paris, and Amsterdam all in a short period of 40 years.
Your description of the new party as a joke is naive. A small political party like this can possibly sway that 8%. Don’t tell me that this is paranoia. Yes today it is statistically insignificant and will never win the next Ontario provincial elections. But Trudeau is too busy importing mass waves of cheap labour in the form of Muslim migrants as working adults to Canada and the West is too busy contracepting themselves so that insignificant 8% Muslim minority will not be insignificant in 10 years.
The Catholic Church or rather the counter church has a role to play in this, with affliated NGO entities providing immigration services and receives kick back from the government. Those NGOs play no part in actual evangelization. Don’t believe it? Pope Francis says we cannot induce non believers to join our faith, as proselytizing is solemn nonsense. So much for the words of our Lord, “go and baptize, making disciples of all nations. Whoever believes is saved. Whoever disbelieves is condemned”

In Turkey a Muslim is allowed to convert to Christianity without consequence. Egypt has banned the Muslim brotherhood from elections since thier fall from power. The main system of government is not Islamic but Napoleanic. As for Libya, it’s essentially an anarchy with many groups trying to gain power. Some are Islamic and some aren’t. This isn’t sharia.
Most of these enclaves are cultural ghettos, not sharia zones. Bryan, Toronto is 8% Muslim, however Canada as a whole is 35% Catholic. Does that mean that we’re going to ditch sodomite marriage. Over 50% of Muslims in America endorse sodomy.
Now, I agree with you fully on the last part. The Church these days is betraying Christ and its own roots by doing little to reach the Muslims, and other groups for that matter.
