Midway and Vigano

The Pacific theatre of World War II is quite interesting.  It’s an interesting episode of history because everyone knows how it begins, and everyone knows how it ends.  It begins with the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor and ends with the Atomic bombs.  In November a movie will come out called Midway.  This of course revolves around the Battle of Midway which was the first major Allied victory in the Pacific.  Above is a trailer for the movie Midway that comes out this November.

I’m purely going off memory when I recall hearing a phrase once that went like this: “On the morning of June 4 we were losing the war in the pacific.  By noon we were winning.”  Perhaps someone can give me the correct quote in the comments but its something to that effect.  Things had turned around in a matter of hours.

A few days ago was the one year anniversary of the atomic bomb known as the Vigano letter.  I remember where I was on August 25, 2018 when I heard of this letter.  It was a very nice day out.  I was parked out in a residential area just off the Main Street.  I was waiting for an order of sushi and going through my Twitter feed on my phone.  I was actually thinking about the next post that I was going to write.  I can’t remember what I was going to write but I remember that I was going to attack Rod Dreher.  I wish I could remember what I had in mind.  I remember that it was brilliant but I didn’t end up writing it, that day or ever.  Then I saw it.

Of course, anywhere Vigano’s testimony could be corroborated, it has.  In many ways the Vigano letter was like the Battle of Midway.  It was a victory against the modernist homosexual cabal residing that occupies many high ranking positions in the Church.  The most obvious one being the disgraced, demonic, ex-Cardinal, sodomite and rapist Ted McCarrick.  McCarrick is finished but there are more to go.

Although Vigano’s letter was a victory, things have accelerated.  We have the Amazon Synod coming up and a troop of modernists have produced a gnostic and pagan working document.  It’s essentially a worship of nature.  In the synods in the previous years the documents had maybe one or two ambiguous paragraphs or phrases.  Now the whole document is heresy.

The Battle of Midway didn’t end the Pacific War.  In fact, it would take over three more years of fighting.  There is grace involved in this though.  I mean the rosary is an important weapon.  I’m encouraged when people remind their fellow Catholics to pray the rosary.  On the TnT podcast and the Right on Point podcast, there are many reminders to pray the rosary.

I recently wrote a post on how Our Lady has helped us against Islam and will continue to help us.  We need her help to purify the Church from the inside as well.  Vigano is doing all he can, but he can’t do it alone.

  1. Thank you for sharing all of this. Would you consider wadnig into the SSPx vs FSSP cease fire that Mike Matt is calling for?

That is a terrible situation. Priests on either side are making statements that may be true given the correct caveats, but really is what they are saying important for their flock? Is it necessary that people without theological and philosophical training are being burdened by the confusion that is responsible for the decisions Levefre was forced make? Do these priests have to belabour things in homilies which results in some SSPX people saying to FSSP people your mass is invalid, a danger to your soul etc. and vice versa?

Perhaps some of the priests are correct, but do they know that their flock can’t handle these ideas properly?

    • Hi Maria,

I haven’t looked into this. I mean, I attend the TLM but this battle for reclaiming the church has to mainly be done by the average folk. Archbishop Vigano isn’t a TLM priest. He’s a normal guy who realizes that the Church is being torn apart by this cabal of sodomite clergy. I honestly don’t like petty spats between traditionalist groups so I may not comment.

      God bless,

      Allan
