How the Left Views Non-Christian Religion

We all know that the left hates all religion.  We know that they hate Christianity more than any other religion but they hate other religions as well.  However, they do have a use for them.  They don’t want them gone; at least not yet.  They have a role to play in the leftist war on our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the secular West, Christianity remains the dominant religion but what about Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Sikhism?  These religions in their traditional forms hold values that the left despises.  What does the left do with these minority religions?  It goes to bat for them and pretends to be their friend.  They do everything to try and influence members of these religions.  How do they influence them?  They want them to have a strong religious identity, keep all the externals, while gutting all of the values.

What do I mean by this?  The left wants Muslims to have a proud Muslim identity and celebrate Eid and other religious holidays.  They also want the Muslim women to wear their hijabs.  At the same time, they don’t want them to hold Islamic values.  Islamic values have nothing to do with promoting feminism, socialism, leftism, or LGBTQ insanity.  Nothing at all, however the left wants them to promote them while wearing a suit of fake religiosity.

Let’s take a look at an example, this time from Judaism.  American leftist Peter Beinart is on record saying that he attends an Orthodox Jewish synagogue.  Yet, the same Peter Beinart holds every leftist value and said the following thing about Sohrab Ahmari:

Good old leftist Orthodox Jew Peter Beinart comes to the defense of the crossdressers(who are in the presence of children when doing this story reading) which the Torah firmly condemns.

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

I’ve heard Beinart quote the Torah before and talked about how it gives such wisdom on the family.  Again, the left loves that.  It just doesn’t want verses like Deuteronomy 22:5 quoted or believed in which Beinart obviously doesn’t.

Let’s look at one last example and that’s Canadian NDP leader Jagmeet Singh.  I remember watching the French debate back in October leading up to the Canadian Federal election.  He was constantly advocating for the LGBTQ community and other leftist causes at a nasty rate.  Naturally Jagmeet Singh is towing the leftist religion party line.  He has a strong Sikh identity, always wears his turban, has a big beard and supports the most radically leftist cultural agenda that exists in the Western world.  His ancestors would never have recognized his views but they sure would have recognized his beard and turban.

So what does the left want in terms of non-Christian religion?  It wants to promote them to show that the West is about all religions(aka no religion), not just one.  People like Ilhan Omar, Peter Beinart, and Jagmeet Singh are doing a fine job of keeping the external elements of their religion while hating the values of it.  It’s a pretty slippery tactic.  Leave it up to the left to do something like this.
