Faith and Politics with Jackie Chea

I try to avoid politics as much as possible on this blog.  I do that because the Catholic faith doesn’t mandate certain political views, save for a few key issues.  About two weeks ago, I came to a shocking realization.  Pretty much all of North America, South America, and Western Europe have been taken over by hordes of raging leftists.  These leftists are super anti-Christian and are working to undermine the Church at every point.

Despite this horrific situation, we can take solace in the fact that there are a few holdouts.  Texas is one of those holdout regions, at least for now.  On Wednesday I had the pleasure of interviewing Jackie Chea.  She’s an Evangelical from Texas who is big on current events and local situations that may not have reached those outside of her state.

Basically here’s the situation.  Texas is one of those fortress holdouts where Christian values are at least respected.  At least compared to New York and California.  However, this fortress is under heavy bombardment.  Chea talks a lot about the nasty stuff going on in many places in Texas but especially Austin.  Apparently in Austin schools the children have a “genderbread man” come and pervert them.  So much for fond childhood memories of the cute and innocent gingerbread man.  I froze when Chea told me about this.

This interview will really give you an idea of how important fighting the good fight really is.  I also recorded another video about how we can fight these demons.  I show the city of Constantinople in the 17th century.  Once the Jewell of Christendom, it had almost no Christian character left.  Why?  Because they didn’t defeat the evil that was on the doorstep and in their midst.

In Matthew 16 Jesus Christ promised us that the gates of hades would not prevail against his Church.  That couldn’t be more true but that’s the global Church.  It doesn’t mean that we couldn’t lose certain regions.  If Constantinople wasn’t guaranteed then I don’t know what is guaranteed.

How do we fight this evil?  We be the best Christians that we can.  We go to Church, we pray every single day.  Most of all, we need to bring our lapsed friends to Church.  We need to grow our ranks so outreach is definitely a priority.  The last 20 years has been a cultural disaster.  We need to make sure that the next 20 go in the right direction.  Start now; use the rest of lent.  May God be with you!
