The West is anti-Christian and beyond repair. It has capitulated to moral backwardness and depravity. Christianity in the West is almost dead. While thriving in many other regions of the world, the Church is in trouble in the West.

Orlando And The Pharisees
by
In the days following the mass shooting of homosexuals in Orlando by an Islamic supporter of ISIS, I have some thoughts. It’s quite amusing to look at the angry anti-Christian leftists in the media. They simply don’t know what to do. If this was a fundamentalist Christian who killed these homosexuals, there would be no problem. Since it was a Muslim supporter of ISIS they’ve had problems. The media will fall on its sword for Islam and for homosexuality. The poor leftists are confused. It’s kind of amusing to watch them running in circles like a dog chasing its tail.
The Importance Of Knowing Church History
by
Protestant apologist James White always claims that he teaches Church history. Listening to his show and his debates shows that he doesn’t know the subject as well as he thinks. In 2000 White debated Robert Sungenis on whether the Catholic Mass is Biblical and Ancient. Sungenis was quoting Church fathers while James White was quoting Philip Schaff, Jaroslav Pelikan, JND Kelly and other modern Protestant historians.
Liberalism Is Garbage

A few months ago, I saw an interesting looking book on the shelf in a Catholic bookstore. It was called Amazing Church by Fr. Gregory Baum. I knew that Fr. Baum was a theological advisor at the Second Vatican Council so I decided to pick it up. The book sat on my shelf for a couple of months then last week I decided to crack it open. It was just what I expected.
Sharia, The West, And The Christian Faith

A few years ago, I watched this debate between David Wood and Anjem Choudary. The topic of the debate is: “Would Sharia Help the West?” Sadly, David Wood took the wrong approach. Attacking Sharia is good but then when he went about defending how things are in the West I shook my head.
St. Francis And The True Spirit Of Assisi

A couple of years ago, I was reading a set of homilies by St. Francis de Sales bound into one volume. The preface of this volume was written by Cardinal Carberry on May 31, 1985. In the preface he wrote:
The Feast Of St. Robert Bellarmine
by
Today is the feast of St. Robert Bellarmine. In my opinion he is the greatest Christian thinker, Biblical scholar, apologist, and theologian in the last 500 years. I would also say that he is the second greatest Christian theologian of all time after St. Thomas Aquinas. In other words, better than St. Augustine of Hippo, St. John Chrysostom, and St. Bernard of Clairvaux. He was born in 1542 when the Protestant “reformation” was in full swing. He eventually became a Cardinal of the Catholic Church and participated in three papal conclaves. He is a canonized Saint and a Doctor of the Church. There are only 36 Catholics who hold the title Doctor of the Church and it is only reserved for the greatest theologians.
Shabir Ally And The Resurrection Of Christ
by
Recently there was a debate between Protestant apologist Mike Licona and Islamic apologist Shabir Ally. The proposition was Jesus: Resurrected or Rescued. While Licona was defending resurrection, Ally was defending what is known as swoon theory. Classical Islam has traditionally stated that Jesus was never crucified but that someone was meant to look crucified in his place. This comes from the Quranic verse Surah 4:157 which reads:

After my review of Michael Coren’s book I received an email from a supporter of mine. She said:

A Review

Every Canadian knows the name Michael Coren but watching his career over the last couple of years has been like watching a train wreck in slow motion. In 2011 he published Why Catholics Are Right and followed up with The Future Of Catholicism in 2013. Things changed not long after that. In 2014 he changed his mind on homosexuality and started secretly frequenting the Anglican Church while masquerading as a Catholic in the public square. In 2015 it became public that Canada’s once greatest Catholic apologist had officially joined the Anglican Church and at the centre of his conversion was his new views on homosexuality.
