So here is what happened. Dr. James White recently debated British Muslim apologist Zakir Hussain on whether or not Jesus was crucified. Zakir Hussain clearly won this debate. He didn’t win because his arguments were good, in fact, they were the exact opposite. They were arguments that were on par with Matthew Vines arguments for the Biblical blessing of homosexual relationships. They were that bad.

Muhammad, Islam, and the Church
by
Catholics and Protestants agree on a lot of things but at the same time we disagree on a lot of things. One is the interpretation of Matthew 16:18. The KJV reads:
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Has anyone ever wondered as to what the Islamic interpretation is regarding this verse? Muslims believe that Jesus is a Prophet so they have to believe in what he says, including this verse.
Responding to Paul Williams on Acts 2:22

Hello everyone! I just came back from vacation and am now ready to resume posting my apologetic material. I will post some pictures and video soon for all too see. Recently my attention has been drawn to Islamic Apologist Paul Williams. He has been making short apologetics videos. Paul, if you’re listening, I must admit that I really like your videos. They’re well done, high quality and give a good indication of what Christians can expect from top Islamic apologists. Naturally, I expected Bart Ehrman to be quoted quite a bit. However, as a Christian I encourage you to make more of these videos.
James White is Wrong About Islam
by
Dr. James White has often said that Islam is a U-turn. In other words, it steps down from the high revelation of Jesus Christ and takes the Abrahamic tradition back several steps. I couldn’t disagree more. This U-turn statement gives Islam more credit than it deserves. If one looks at the revelation from the OT to the NT, one sees a smooth fulfillment. Does Islam go back to the OT?
Omar Khadr, Evil, and a Morally Backward Society

Have you ever heard of Omar Khadr? He’s a Canadian born Muslim Jihadi who fought with the Taliban. He killed an American medic and blinded another in Afghanistan. Watch the video that I’ve provided above if you want to learn all of the details.
James White, Sam Shamoun, Keith Thompson, Brannon Howse, Robert Spencer, and the Rest of Them

Calvinist apologist James White has responded to my posts twice. The last time, he spent over an hour responding to a critique that I made of him. I think that everyone can agree that White and I are not on the same side. I desperately want to see the man become a Catholic just as much as he wants me to stop being one. Recently, many of his fellow Calvinists have criticized him on an interfaith dialogue that he had with Islamic apologist Dr. Yasir Qadhi. I have criticized this dialogue as well. It came as quite a shock that someone like White would participate in it. Regardless, he did and he still continues to defend what he did.
At the same time, I will admit that the attacks against White have gone overboard. This event happened months ago. It ended with the parting of ways of Sam Shamoun and James White. Why is this coming up again, months later? To all the Calvinists who are criticizing White I say the following:
Peter Kreeft Dabbles in Modernism
by
I recently listened to a podcast from Catholic Answers where Peter Kreeft was a guest. For those who don’t know, Peter Kreeft is a Catholic convert from Calvinism and one of the greatest Philosophers of our day. Both Catholics and Protestants read his works and make good use of them. He is also heavily involved in the pro-life movement and has written books like The Unaborted Socrates. In other words, we have a lot to thank him for.
A Challenge for Islamic Apologists Regarding Islam Before Muhammad
by
Islam is the youngest out of all the major religions in the world, though it claims to be the oldest. Secular historians equate the founding of Islam with Muhammad. The Arab who claimed to be a Prophet in the line of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. According to Islam, the first man who ever lived, Adam, was a Muslim. Muhammad is simply the last in the line of Islamic Prophets according to the Quran and the Hadith.

A Challenge to Islamic Apologists

The Quran claims to be the next and final revelation in the Abrahamic tradition. That is, the religion of Abraham, Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ. Unlike the New and Old Testament that we have today, the Quran was revealed to only one person over a 23 year period. Over those years, according to Islamic tradition Muhammad told his followers these revelations who then wrote them down or committed them to memory. Shortly after Muhammad’s death, the Muslim community got together and constructed a single Quran and this is the Quran read today. That’s at least how the official story relates it.
How Not to Talk to a Muslim
This frustrates me to no end

Recently a relative of mine was in Istanbul, Turkey for vacation. Despite having a devout Muslim leader, Turkey is known to be a less religious and more liberal Muslim country. This is especially true of the city of Istanbul which is probably the least religious city in Turkey. Regardless, we can reasonably say that the people of Istanbul are not Christian. Despite once being the “New Rome” and holding the second most authoritative bishopric in Christendom after Rome, modern Istanbul is not a Christian city in the least.
