There is a clip going around of the well known Evangelical Francis Chan saying that for the first 1,500 years of the Church, the unanimous belief was that the Eucharist was the body and blood of Jesus Christ. I want to say that I don’t agree that it was unanimous. It was about 95% but still a strong majority. When Protestants start to read the Church Fathers their jaw drops at the early view of the Eucharist. They clearly viewed it as the body and blood of Christ and Francis Chan sees that.

Should Catholics Attend SSPX Chapels?
by
I try to avoid getting into traditionalist issues on this blog because they normally involve a lot of drama. Should faithful Catholics attend SSPX chapels? I will admit that I’ve been to the local SSPX chapel, though I can count the number of times on one hand. I remember one time it was the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and my Church wasn’t having a mass and I really wanted to go so I went to the SSPX chapel. I’ve also gone to masses offered by the Resistance which is a breakaway group from the SSPX because they thought they were too liberal. I haven’t been to either in years. I’ve never gone to a sedevacantist mass and I never will.
Interview With Erick Ybarra
by
I hope that all of my Canadian followers had lots of turkey on Monday as it was Canadian thanksgiving. My family had our thanksgiving dinner on Sunday so on Monday I was free. I did the three hour drive home and then got ready because I had an interview booked. It was with Catholic apologist Erick Ybarra who blogs at erickybarra.org and is a co-host along with Michael Lofton on Reason and Theology.
An Open Letter to Steve of Triablogue: Why I Stay Catholic
by
I follow several Protestant blogs. Some of them are quite anti-Catholic, including one called Triablogue which seems to be run by a guy named Steve. Now, of the anti-Catholic Protestants blogs out there, they all seem to attack the Church from different angles. Steve seems to like to constantly beat the drum of modernism in the church. With Taylor Marshall’s book out(which I reviewed on my last post), he naturally used this as an opportunity to bring up the liberal and sodomite control of large portions of the Church.
The Russian Option
by
As many of my readers know, I was in the Ukraine in August. I’m involved a lot with the Eastern European community in my city. Two Sundays ago I went to a going away party for the local Russian Orthodox priest. He’s moving back home to be with his parents. I’m not Orthodox but I’ve learned a lot from this man.
Reflections on Two Days in Poland
by
My recent trip to Europe was mainly to the Ukraine but we did spent two days in Poland. I go to Church with a lot of Polish people. I also go to church with a lot of people who have visited Poland. My Church has two priests, one of whom is Polish. Every time one of my friends comes back from visiting Poland they always tell me that I have to visit to see how Catholic it is. I finally got that chance.
The Decline of Faith Goldy

I remember about five or six years ago when Faith Goldy came on the scene. As a Catholic, I was happy to see a young, attractive, articulate and traditional Catholic standing up for the faith in a our extremely secular country. She eventually started working for The Rebel Media where she gained further fame. She even went to Iraq to cover the genocide of Christians happening over there.

Yesterday two young conservative Catholics made a video on the “Spiritual Great Replacement”. These two Catholics are Brittany Pettibone and Faith Goldy. I actually met Faith Goldy in December 2014 when she came to Calgary to do a talk at a Catholic event. She headed a panel discussion with three local Priests. I’ve never met Brittany Pettibone before though I’m a fan of her book Hatred Day, co-authored with her sister Nicole.
Altering Your Mind to Think Like a Christian
by
In Western society, we are brainwashed. We are taught that good is evil and evil is good. Over the last three years, I have spent long hours studying and realizing that the post-enlightenment Western world is demonic. I now oppose modern Western values with all my soul.
Philosophy and Scholasticism
by
If you’ve ever talked to a recent graduate from High School, you’ll realize how intellectually bankrupt our society has become. Our education is completely shot. Pretty much everything that I’ve learned, has come from reading after University. The enemies of God are having a tremendous amount of success promoting evil since the current generation doesn’t know how to think critically.
