In August of 2016 James White did a one hour piece responding to an article that I had written. When this happened his fans swarmed my page. I have to admit, I had my hands full responding to all of their criticisms but at the same time I really liked the amount of views that I was getting on my blog.
Because of those high numbers from White’s response, August 2016 remained the most views that I had ever received in a month until June 2018. In June, no one did any webcasts or hit pieces against me. My viewership has simply increased over time.
Another accomplishment of mine is that in the last few days of June, I surpassed my total number of views in 2017. In just under half the time, I’ve exceeded the number of views of the entire previous year. I’m pretty happy with that.
As many of my readers know, I just published my first YouTube video. Many of my friends have contacted me saying that it was a good dialogue and it really helped them out. I do plan on making more videos for YouTube. I also want to help other Catholics in my city get involved in apologetics, specifically dealing with Islam.
I have to admit, I’m inspired by the Apologetic Avengers. Who are they? They’re the same people that published Islamicize Me. After that, they published another series called unIslamicize Me which is a serious series that deals with the main differences with Christianity and Islam.
Now, the Apologetic Avengers are David Wood, Vocab Malone, Jon McCray and a few others who helped on Islamicize Me. I’m really inspired by their knowledge of Islam. They know the Quran, the Sira, Hadith and other documents. They’re all evangelicals. I have to hand it to the evangelicals for fighting the battle. Us Catholics should feel ashamed for not fighting the battle that we’ve fought for centuries.
On Friday a Catholic friend was over at my house. We were talking about Islam. I told him that I would like to see more Catholics get involved in dealing with Islam. The only Catholics who deal with Islam are Robert Spencer and William Kilpatrick, but they don’t do it from a Catholic perspective. This is as good as useless. Apologists like Trent Horn and Tim Staples deal with Islam from a Catholic perspective but it’s one of the many groups that they deal with. It’s at best a secondary, and probably more like a tertiary focus.
I would recommend that all of my Catholic friends pick up a Quran. It can be bought for fairly cheap online or at a local bookstore. It can also be obtained for free if you go to a local mosque. The bigger the mosque that you go to, the better the Quran will be. If it’s a small mosque then your Quran will be a little booklet. If it’s a larger mosque, they’ll probably give you a full sized book.
Anyways, that’s some of the plans for what I plan to do with my apologetics career. I want to help my fellow Catholics get more involved. I have other plans as well but I won’t get into all of them here. Happy Sunday and God bless.

I’ve been following their Un-Islamicize Me chats on Vocab Malone’s channel, also Answering Islam chats on Acts17, which are far more informative and educational.
David Wood and Sam Shamoun are MONSTERS able to spout unending streams of exegesis, argumentation and refutation at the drop of a hat – complete with citations of the sources, Sura, Aya or Hadith! They really, REALLY know and practiced their stuff.
